Iftar - 6th day of Ramadhan

Saturday... thinking hard what to cook for Iftar? The scorching hot summer really made everyone feels lethargic and mind works at a very low pace. Iskh! kalau kat Rumah mak Sunway ni mesti dah gi Bazaar Ramadhan kat Kg. Lindugan. Ayaq tebu satu jug, ayaq nyioq satu jug, murtabak daging Pakcik Ghani confirm 6 keping (cucu-cucu mak ramai), kueh dangai (buat dr tepung pulut sprinkled with gula n kelapa parut dan caramel gula hangus ... sure sedap.



Finally teringat ada ikan kembung in the fridge, "'if grilled marinated with rempah bercili and daun kunyit mesti sedap yek'". So prepared everything n kept in fridge. Then adik2 called kata nak datang bukak posa together. Mmmm, kecit tapak tangan, piazza uptown Mirdiff kami tadahkan. Again dapat berkumpul masak-masak, makan-makan and santai-santai lagi. So tambah lauk buat kari ikan siakap merah (red snapper), mixed vegetables , mommynye goreng ayam and babah Bamin teringin makan choco vermicelli Donut dan Aidit pi beli ayaq nyioq dlm tin kat Spinneys. Jadikla! Alhamdulillah. Kalau tak kami dok ngadap makan berdua sahaja ditemani anak2 yang tak berposa.

Sembang2, still on the bazaar Ramadhan mood. Bab makan-makan and jual-jual ni memang seronok, So ada gak terasa nak tumpang berniaga tapi takdelah nak bukak stall coz as said before takut asyik kena kejor kak ngah Ilham nak terjun masuk swimming pool kat rumah Tuan Syed. Adik2... mintak tumpang tolong jualkan yek. Alo towkey rendang daging Kuala Semantan kita saing niaga ngan rendang tok Uptown Mirdif ok? Sajaasronok! Nak kena pikiaq gak ni, menu tumpang kat kedai PP pulak. Thinking hard!!!!


Malamnyer kami jalan2 kat piazza UT Mirdiff. It was quite humid but sajer tengok telatah adik2 yang mak-bapak depa jauh di Malaysia dengan anak2 sedara depa. (gambar update later)

Wah cepat update blog skarang ni. Anyway thanks kak zaida n abg im sbb jemput saya berbuka puasa kat rumah. ni la second time bukak puasa ramai2 sebab last week bukak puasa sorang2 jer tu pun skali kat umah mem. Ikan bakar sgt sedap nak2 kari ikan ala malaysia.

Memang tubggu pun signature dish nasi ayam dari u. itorang pun klau tak dok dua orang macam bercinta bukak posa. Sronok ramai2 ni, the more the merrier... if only org Bahrain dpt join kita yek.

Jeda, reading your endless food entries, it makes me wonder what is your signature dish, one that you would proudly bring to other people's house or one that you are so known for? Just give me one, I know you are capable of many.

anyway, it is Ramadhan? for iftaar, need to prepare food to satisfy the crave of everyone in the hs. Well, was once anak towkey nasi lemak, maybe that's my signature lah! but love to cook as much as u love to bake. later nak tuntut ilmu from u.

Welcome back to the cyber house. Yelah kita tumpang kasih adik-beradik kat sini. Dah kakaknye abang Zuhairi bawak lari dok kat pulau emas tu, nak buat camne. Aidit malu2 nak makan (ahaks) tapi babah Bamin n Mommy Luyah nak hoye-hoye ngan Dak Debot tu jelah. The truth is , sronokkkkk ramai-ramai.

I memang la malu malu. Org ckp 1st time 2nd time datang still jadi tetamu kan. Dah masuk 3rd time dah kira bukan tetamu lagi mcm kita solat jamak kan lebih 3 hari dah tak boleh jamak.

Thanks byk2 Kak Ida. At least Kak Ina (kak long)takde, kak Ida ni boleh la 'Kak Cik' or 'Kak Chick' and Mem jadi Kak Su. Bertuah ada family angkat kat sini kan.

p/s: I nak order kek lapis sarawak dari wiz. Nanti i masuk blog dia

to me la kan, yang bernasib badan dapat makan beberapa kali masakan puan ida nie kan....her signature dish tu...sambal petai!!!
lately nie, ada pulak tempoyak masuk jering!! sedap tuh wehhh....
dan dan jangan tak makan jika dia hidangkan rendang tok!!! kaokao punyer....
