Iftar - 1st Ramadhan

tamar pembuka selera utk iftar

kuih ketayap pemanis mulut

sup ekor dan tulang

sambal tempoyak jering dan petai

sambal udang petai

Kita tengok gambar dulu and get indulged.

Alhamdulillah, we manage to go through the 1st day of Ramadhan without much tribulations especially dealing with our first timer . Our first Princess Nur Iman has started to fast this year and alhamdulillah dia tak tunjuk muka seposen mintak to break fasting. She managed till Maghrib. We are proud of her indeed. Dia tak banyak merungut, moaning or groaning craving for anything like last year. She completed only three quarted days lastyear. Everyday at 3.00pm 0r 4.00pm, she would ask for milk or ice creams... mmmm sigh! Will see how she manage on the following day.


Again we invited few bachelor friends to join us for Iftar. Menjamu makan dan berkongsi rezeki yg Allah bagi sama-sama and solat sama2. And of course stuffing ourselves with food, drinks, Solat Maghrib, sembang2, solat Isyak and solat Terawih together and sembang-sembang again. All on good, fun and clean jokes. MamaZ punya kitchen open till late nite. Alhamdulillah, bersama2 kita mengimrahkan Ramadhan ini dan berkongsi rezeki yang Allah kurniakan.

Alhamdulillah dapat invitation berbuka puasa di rumah seorang teman. So Mama Z masak lemak cili api ikan talang masin. Rezeki seorang teman beri untuk dikongsi bersama. Alhamdulillah. (and there will always be updates on makan2 this Ramadhan, insyaAllah).

Nasib baik tengok ni masa kenyang. Kalau beginilah entri bulan puasa ni... blog ni kena blocked di waktu siang... hehehehe.

Ekceli kita dah plan nak masak sup ekor untuk Tuan Moderator. Tapi tengok sup Mama lagi yummy nampaknya. Segan pula kita nak beri rasa.

Kakak tiri,
Alahai, lain orang lain lah air tangannya. Teknik gambo jer yang buat nampak sedap... tapi sup mama memang sedap Alhamdulillah. Jering finish lorrr.

U name it, petai, daun kesum, ulam pegaga, daun pandan ... Asian stuff, semua ada. Takat craving nak makan apa pun, InsyaAllah dapat n we are very Malaysian here. Iftar semalam dapat makan pengat pisang (pisang tanduk lagi!!!)

ni boring nie .... kite tengok tengah dok lapar kat ofis .... hiks, macam sambal tempoyak tu dah terasa kat lidah nie ..... hiks, sniff,sniff .....
tapi macamanepun , riri paling suke entry kalu ada gambar makanan, so kak zaida, please teruslah posting gambar makanan ek ... hehehe

No, more of wiztreats and Jeda's savouries. Love all your lauks. I dont cook like that coz my you know who, doesn't take those food, masak2 kampung or curry. And the worst thing is, the kids take after him!!! I miss all my lauks and veges.
