3rd day of Ramadhan

Alhamdulillah with God's will we proceed to the third day of Ramadhan. As the day draws to a close, Iman is looking forward to breaking the fast. She looks lethargic but full of spirit to complete the day.

Today , we had a decent menu for Iftar. Tamar as usual as a starter complement with orange juice and air zam-zam. Then we had kueh koci rezeki given by a friend; to be shared amongst us anak-beranak in our humble nest. The main dish yummy; mee bandung aka mee jawa garnished with boiled eggs and park choy to complete our iftar. We as a family comes together and dedicates our sweet time and spend time together enjoying the rezki. Iman and babah had their own favorite food and everyone feels fulfilled and blessed. Alhamdulillah. Ready for solat and Mama got to think hard, what is for sahoor?

Alhamdulillah, we manage to go through the 1st day of Ramadhan without much tribulations especially dealing with our first timer . Our first Princess Nur Iman has started to fast this year and alhamdulillah dia tak tunjuk muka seposen mintak to break fasting. She managed till Maghrib. We are proud of her indeed. Dia tak banyak merungut, moaning or groaning craving for anything like last year. She completed only three quarted days lastyear. Everyday at 3.00pm 0r 4.00pm, she would ask for milk or ice creams... mmmm sigh! Will see how she manage on the following day.

Again we invited few bachelor friends to join us for Iftar. Menjamu makan dan berkongsi rezeki yg Allah bagi sama-sama and solat sama2. And of course stuffing ourselves with food, drinks, Solat Maghrib, sembang2, solat Isyak and solat Terawih together and sembang-sembang again. All on good, fun and clean jokes. MamaZ punya kitchen open till late nite. Alhamdulillah, bersama2 kita mengimrahkan Ramadhan ini dan berkongsi rezeki yang Allah kurniakan.

Up date for 2nd day Iftar

Alhamdulillah dapat invitation berbuka puasa di rumah seorang teman. So Mama Z masak lemak cili api ikan talang masin. Rezeki seorang teman beri untuk dikongsi bersama. Alhamdulillah. (and there will always be updates on makan2 this Ramadhan, insyaAllah).

Uptown Mirdif

Uptown Mirdif begitu significant dengan kehidupan aku dan keluarga di sini. Sewaktu aku dan keluarga menyertai perjumpaan pertama kami with other Malaysians di Dubai yang dianjurkan oleh MyUAEPro di Uptown Mirdif ini, kami jatuh cinta - Love at a first sight: terasa ada chemistry dengannya. Seni architecturenye yg unik berekabentukkan kubu dan dipenuhi dengan kemudahan tempat membeli belah amat sesuai untuk dijadikan tempat tinggal.

Sewaktu selesai perjumpaan dengan rakan-rakan Malaysia, terdetik dalam hati dan bersembang dgn Pn Z "kalau kita dapat dok sini sure bestkan. Senang sebab kemudahan banyak. Spinneys pun dekat, food court, kedai-kedai untuk shopping, starbucks, Mothercare pun ada. Turun bawah terus je pergi kedai, takyah nak naik kereta atau taxi. (takdak keta masa tuh!!)

Lokasi ini macam pisang panas, kalau ada unit kosong dalam 1-2 hari saja sudah ada yang menghuninya. Aku sudah berkira-kira untuk booking kediaman kami di Spring setelah beberapa minggu gagal dalam mendapatkan unit kosong di sini dan juga lokasi lain yang sesuai dengan keperluan harian kami tetapi mungkin nak jadi rezeki kami sekeluarga, sehari sebelum aku beri duit booking, ternampak satu iklan baru di dalam internet yang kata ada unit kosong di Uptown Mirdif. Tanpa berlengah terus saja call agen tersebut dan ternyata ianya belum lagi ada sesiapa booking. Apalagi aku pun terus confirmkan hari itu juga. Khabaran gembira itu aku sampaikan kepada Isteriku dan Anak2 dan ternyata mereka gembira dan tak sabar nak pindah ke rumah baru selepas hampir sebulan tinggal di Hotel.
